Our clients always want to put their pets' health above financial concerns. But as important as regular preventive care can be for your pet's health, it can still sometimes be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Wellness Plans 'bundles' all the preventive services that keep your pet healthy throughout the year into an easy monthly payment plan, helping you save money and manage your budget.
What is included in a Pet Wellness Plan?
Our Pet Wellness Plans for cats, dogs, ferrets, small mammals, birds, and reptiles in Villa Rica Animal Hospital include the essentials for your pet to thrive.
Our Plans include annual and 6-month wellness exams, core vaccinations, bloodwork, and heartworm testing. They will also include a fecal exam and a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medications.
The Importance of Preventive Care
Wellness exams are a total health checkup for your pet. They allow us to find and treat any emerging health issues as well as check in on your pet's diet to make sure they are getting enough daily nutrients.
Sometimes your dog or cat may appear perfectly healthy, but the early signs of disease may lurk in their bodies. Your pet may not even display any obvious symptoms! Because of this, we run bloodwork on your pets to ensure they are in good condition.
Parasites can be deadly for an animal of any size if left untreated. Prevention provides the best protection, which is why we provide a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medication with our Wellness Plans.
If your pet does become infected, our fecal exams and blood tests are designed to catch these life-threatening conditions, which are often undetectable until your pet gets seriously ill.

Yes, you can pay for the full year when you sign up for your Wellness Plan.
An additional $35 one-time membership fee is collected upon enrollment.

Yes, unless you request that we cancel your plan, it will renew automatically each year.

How do I make the monthly payments?
Your payment information (credit card) is entered into a secure portal when you sign up for your plan. You can choose the withdrawal date between the 1st and 15th of each month that's best for you.

Wellness Plans for older pets include the standard core services, in addition to screening for various age-related diseases and disorders.

My pet is young and healthy. Does it make sense to buy a Wellness Plan?
Regular preventive veterinary care for young animals can help build a foundation for good life-long health. When you sign your pet up for a Wellness Plan as a puppy or kitten, puppy/kitten vaccinations are included in the monthly fee.

We offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra-large dogs, giant dogs, and cats.

Will the Wellness Plan cover all of my pet's healthcare needs?
Wellness plans cover the routine care that all cats and dogs need (core vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and more). You will also receive a 10% discount on any other service your pet needs, excluding food and grooming.
